Why Should Your Business Be on LinkedIn

Just recently, my father, DJ Muller, President and Founder of WebLink International, was featured on Fox News Live to talk about why businesses should be on LinkedIn.  WebLink International is a multi-million dollar software company that provides software and web solutions on a global scale.

As he has said, LinkedIn is a real missed opportunity for small businesses around the United States.  It is a way to connect to your customers, and also to ask them for referrals and recommendations, which have the highest closing rate to get new business.  

Here are the steps to grow your membership on LinkedIn.

  1. Create Your Presence - create a personal profile for yourself, but also a business profile.
  2. Maximize Your Presence - seek out and find your customers, and connect with them to stay in relationship
  3. Engage Your Followers or Connections - talk to your connections or followers and ask them if they could give you a testimonial or a referral, which I reiterate has the highest closing rate of any marketing technique.
  4. Attract More Followers or Connections - reaching out to potential clients can lead to more business.
